The actress Marianne Sägebrecht was in Restaurant El Cafetí to coincide with the launching of her film Bagdad Café. She was recognised by other clients in the restourant and with all the excitment she stood up and said "Le había gustado más El Cafetí que el café de Bagdad Café".
